June 6th, its D-Day. The Allies have started Operation Overlord, the Invasion in the Normandy.
*Allies*
Destroy the Barbwire Fence with your Grenades and Guns, then pick up the bomb and
destroy the 2 Mortars in the back of the area.
*Axis*
Prevent the Allies from destroying the Mortars, you can request every 30 seconds
a mortar attack at the beach.

Allies: Capture and the 5 flags to gain control of the town.
Axis: Capture and the 5 flags to defend the town. Additionally you can destroy the bridge to make it more difficult for the Allies to capture the bridge. You komrades left the tnt in a small bunker when they fled from the allied invaders.

Story :
"I'm hit! Hit! In the nether regions!"
The cry from his fallen comrade stopped Jack McKillsalot in his tracks,
and the nazis in the surrounding area were spared for a few minutes.
"Johnny! Talk to me! You were only two days away from going home!"
"Aw shucks, Jack! I'm going home! Home to heaven! Kill me...some...
nazis..." And with those words, Johnny closed his eyes and made a valiant
outro, his last grenade rolling from his hand and landing in a Nazi foxhole,
killing 25 badguys.
Jack McKillsalot held Johnny tight in his plentifull bosom, and yelled
"NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo" with all his might, his mouth forming the letter 'O'
in a very hot and seductive way. The loud roar from Jack made two divisions of
Nazi supermen pee their pants, and two companies immediatly surrendered to American Forces.
"Fritz is gonna get it, Fritz is gonna get it good!" Jack promised to his dead comrade.
He refueled his flamethrower, and inserted a new clip into his bazooka, and made a mad dash
towards Berlin. On his way there, he killed 67883 Nazis, saved 89 bored housewives, had sex
with 76 nubile French maids (he was in France btw) and blew up two armored brigades (both of
then of the Nazi persuasion).
Two days later, he was on the steps of Hitlers office in downtown Berlin. Around him lay the charred
bodies of the elite Nazi army, the Waffle SS. They had put up one heck of a fight, which had
caused Jack to get some mud on his really cool uniform, but he prevailed in the end.
It was only him and the Fuhrer now, and when he left, there wouldn't be much left of the Fuhrer.
He stormed into the offices of Hitler, not knocking on the door, before Hitlers secretary even
had a chance to press the button on the intercom (which had a swastika on it, because it was
a Nazi intercom).

Tired of doing Axis vehicles and seeing the need for Allied ones, I decided to make the Sherman. It has been used in many different DOD maps.

This is a modification of the publically available Sherman M4A3. Realizing that the original short barrel was not adequate, the Allies replaced it with the "17 pounder" gun, referring to the weight of the shell, I believe. I added a 3d MG to the front plate and also enhanced the texture.

Scoring:
Center flag scores 1 point for player, 0 points for the team, BUT advances the capturing team's spawn point.
All other flags score 1 point to the player capturing the flag, and 1 team point for every 30 seconds that the flag is held. If you do not hold the flag for at least 30 seconds, you will not score team points !
Capturing all 5 flags scores 5 team points.
Maximum 16 players per team. Advance spawns are limited to 8 per team.
Rev1 changes:
Corrected Axis spawn problem. Also, outside of the building, on the uphill slope to the first Axis flag, the dirt piles have been removed and the stone wall on the left has been extended to the building. Some minor texture changes and alignment fixes.

As the Invasion neared its end, there was only one barrier left to prevent the Allied Forces from entering the southern regions of the Reich: the Chiemgau Region with the key city Heutau, the Wehrmacht´s last real stronghold.
Allied Objectives:
You all know what is in front of you, the Krauts are fighting like a cornered rat, inflicting heavy casualties every footstep we try to proceed. Heutau is the key to this region and this region is the key to the Reich.
Axis Objectives:
We now have the chance to beat our enemy and gain back the initiative we lost since in Sicily. I don´t have to tell you what would happen if we lose Heutau so don´t even think about retreating. There is nothing else than total victory left for us. We are expecting a massive assault in the late afternoon so get in position!

@Arkshine: de_basalt is a whooping 462M, it won't go down below 250M even with ultra compression, it uses a ton of models and has a large out of bounds area, it's not your normal CSGO map no, but it's an official map, its CS2 version is even larger reaching 2GB but that's irrelevant since the site doesn't have a CS2 category
