Today I cannot download anything, I get "Internal error in the MySQL database.". Yesterday I switched web browsers, the browser I used to download maps from here is uninstalled now so I cannot check, but, is this just a coincidence that I now cannot download?
Eh, then what can I do in order to be able to download again? I tried logging out and back in, didn"t help. And I cannot log out of the previous browser as its already uninstalled. Just wait?
byplt you absolute HERO!!! Works like a charm. Now if any moderator can link that code to the red download button and we're good to go, right? I'm not a webber in the slightest so I don't know if that's even possible or not?
@rUsHnUt not sure about what access moderators have but you can use TamperMonkey/SpiderMonkey addons on the browser and paste the code in there - it will work across this website without having to paste it again and again
This is unfair, not only Im limited to only 50 downloads per day, so since I want to download and collect all the maps, I cannot do it in a few days but have been painstakingly downloading 50 per day every day for 5 years now, but now I cant even download each with a single click, but I have to perform multiple steps...
I need to have all the maps so that if this site ever closes, which happens a lot with various other similar sites hosting mod content and stuff, I have them all safely preserved. It's a FOMO thing.
Technically I only need the good ones, but to find out which are good, I first need to try them all and delete the shitty ones. That will take a while, and if the site decides to die in the meanwhile, might be unable to proceed, so rather have them all first, and sort them later.
BTW I have more than 12298, should be about 72000 already, seems like the counter reset at some point for so
-me reason. BTW here's a proof for why I have to do this. I archived all the mods for rFactor from rfactorcentral.com, over 1tb of data. That site is now dead and a lot of the stuff I have here cannot be found anywhere online anymore
@LiveWire: Downloaded maps in profile information isn't 100% accurate. When you preview a file it counts as "downloaded map". It's a bug I found some time ago while previewing/downloading skybox files. But previewing more than one file per map does not accumulate accordingly. There's a limit of 1 per map so to speak. You can do the check for yourself.
