Description: Shortly after the initial battles between the Frontiersmen and the Kharaa, the officials of the Trans-System Authority began to realise Frontiersmen with experience would soon retire, either by their own will or by the unruly claws of a kharaa beast. In order to counter the future loss of men with experience, the "simulation" was created. Simple in layout yet effective in teaching the basics of new recruits to the TSA roster, the simulation allows those who attend to join a simulation of an active battle between a Kharaa hive segment and Frontiersmen outpost segment. Those who attended were soon surprised by the replacement of Kharaa "drones" with the technology to allow Frontiersmen to simulate alien enemies, which enabled further understanding of Kharaa advantages... and limitations.
The simulation is often used in the training of new Frontiersmen and has appropriate space for improvement, let there be any changes to either of the two warring sides.

Description:Playtesting candidate build.
Celtic station is an 8 floor, deep space station, serving as a hub of commerce at the fringe of human space. Celtic station was one of the first to recive news of the alien threat and and to be infested. Celtic station was placed under quarantine after a service deck has somehow became infested. Teh afected deckhas sealed off from the rest of the station and the frontiersmen summoned. If the frontiersmen arrive in time they will be phased into the (as yet) unaffected data centre. The station's 800 workers and 200 passing traders are relying on the TSA to prevent the spread of the alien threat and save their lives.

Description: The TSa has recieved an Emergency Distress Beacon (EDB) from the cargo ship
Kobayashi Maru. Acording to the ships log, the ship began to lose power in
it's starboard engine and veared off coarse. Now both engines have stalled
and the ship is adrift in Gamma-Hydra Section Ten. The ships security and
bio-monitoring equipent has identified the presence of Kahraa bacteria, but
that it is contained in the rear of the ship. Normally a ship this small and
it's crew would simply be sacraficed, but TSA has ordered the ship recovered.
The cryo units on the ship are still intact and the crew are still alive. TSA
intellence believes the Kahraa were being smuggled aboard the ship by one of
the crew. It is imparative that we regain control of that ship so that we can
rescue and then interogate the crew.

Addintional info:
Eniant is a smaller map aimed at public servers with less than 20 slots. It features an easy to grasp 'tree-like' layout with the marines in the north and all three hives in the south, which should make it a good choice for new players who wish to get used to Natural Selections gameplay without of having to memorize maze-like layouts.
Generally, it's a rather corridor-heavy map, which means that ramboing skulks will have the life expectancy of a squid in a blast furnance. Plenty of ambushing points and dark corners should make up for this, though.
This map is, aside from Flayras testmaps, the oldest Natural Selection map at all - Freestyler and I already worked on it when Merkaba hadn't joined and Relic hadn't even heard of the mod. The fact that this wasn't only NS', but also *our* first map turned however out to be a major hindrance - five complete overhauls, uncounted layout changes, and one less mapper later (Free split from the project in 2002 due to RL influences), I'm (...)

Thank you for Downloading my map, this is a small fast map, it is built to have have the
Marines start trapped in a small room that must be welded out of. The aliens have plenty of
time to prepare themselves for the marines and there advance. This is only the first
Version of the level, so don't worry about bugs and those sort of things, they will be worked
out in time. Please tell me of any bugs that you find on the forums, don't e-mail me.

Story with it... The marines base was taken over a while back, and the site needs to be cleaned
of the alien slim, but all front enterences are blocked off and the only room that the aliens
couldn't get into is the sewer drain area, so this is where the marines start there mission.
The tram is still functional to a curtain extent, and may help the marines gain a upper hand on the
intruders.

Make sure to extract to your base halflife directory, as the zip extracts to /ns - make sure you have extract with folders enabled.
This is a BETA map, there are bugs! Please find them and report them to the email listed at the bottom of this readme. Feedback is welcome as well, please by all means send it in. I will update the map to balance it further and make it more interesting and fun to play on.
KNOWN BUGS AND ODDITIES:
The light patching with the flashlight doesn't always work like it is supposed to, if you see a much larger flashlight beam on the wall than it should be just write it off as being worked on. I will fix it later after I get the other bugs out of the way.
I KNOW that button in storage moves and it shouldn't. The room is currently pointless because i had to tear it up due to high polygon count, but I'll rebuild it for beta 3. Just ignore the moving button, pretend its trying to exist.
Elevators MAY get you stuck sometimes, try to avoid the edges of the elevator perhaps. Its being worked on.
There might be a few places where you can see that famous half life "Hall of mirrors" effect, if you find ANY please email me with the location.
I hope you enjoy playing this map as much as I enjoyed making it.
