Overview
Terrorists have taken over an abandond peninsula fort on the southern coast of Britain. They have taken the local lighthouse crew hostage as guarentee of their safety.
The peninsula is positoned such that the tangos will soon be able to threaten local sipping roots.
The counter-terrorists must rescue the hostages and put an end to the Terrorist threat.

Introduction

This is the final release of my remake of assault, with
the previous version being an incomplete rushed piece of
rubbish. I really hope this tides everyone over untill
valve get around to recreating it themselves.
There are a couple of easter eggs hidden in the map. See
how long it takes you to find them ;)
(hint : noclip might be usefull)

Description: This is a remake of the classic Counter-Strike map, cs_bloodstrike. This version includes barrels, fog and cool lighting. Early on, I saw the cs_bloodstrike_s map, but it looked like it had been put together in five seconds, with textures done poorly and all sorts. So I decided to try and do a better version of it. I hope you like it. Also included is a nav file for the bots.
Installation:Place the cs_bloodstrike.bsp, cs_bloodstrike.txt and cs_bloodstrike.nav into your ...SteamSteamAppsusernamecounter-strike sourcecstrikemaps folder. And have fun!

build time: 1 month & 2 weeks
compile time: 1 hour
machine used and tested on: 2.8 ghz p4 1 gig ram ati 9800 pro
extract dm_projects.bsp to your steamapps/hl2dm/maps folder
althought dm_projects final was "final" this is a re-finished version
changelist:
- fixed 2 medkits that didn't work
- optimised map extensively, should run twice as fast now
- fixed combine monitor still on when grabbed by gravity gun
- fixed shadows coming through the ceiling in the red building
- added more detail
- new lighting to emulate city 17 more accurately
- env_sun added to map for extra detail
- func_detailed some more brushes
- added thicker fog with simular color to the lighting to improve fps
- 3dskybox texture alignment on a building fixed
- 3dskybox detail lowered to boost fps
- added a new spawn point in the lesser played half of the map
- added more cubemaps to give every surface an accurate reflection
- removed a few prop_physics (garbage, bottles)
- changed rooftop texture to concrete by the combine structure

Props and textures by Valve Software. I have modified several Valve textures for use in this map.
This distribution (c) 2005 Mars Jokela. Anyone may mirror/redistribute for noncommercial purposes only, provided this file, dm_zeta_prefinal.txt, is included absolutely unaltered and is maintained in the same directory as dm_zeta_prefinal.bsp. The final distro will probably be copylefted but this is just a beta. Also keep in mind everything that is bound by the Half Life 2 EULA.

@Arkshine: de_basalt is a whooping 462M, it won't go down below 250M even with ultra compression, it uses a ton of models and has a large out of bounds area, it's not your normal CSGO map no, but it's an official map, its CS2 version is even larger reaching 2GB but that's irrelevant since the site doesn't have a CS2 category
