their guard and rearmed themselves.
The only escape route is via the cablecar to the valley below.
Allies score 10 personal points and 10 team points for a successful escape.
Axis score 5 team points for every empty cablecar reaching the escape point.

MODIFICATIONS FROM FESTUNG_V3
Complete entity rework to make compatible with 1.0
Majority of textures replaced and some architectural changes, including a new spawn
exit to the courtyard for the Axis, and automatic machine guns to protect the
internal Axis spawn exits.
Pushable exploding barrels and crates removed because they don't work in 1.0
Escape ropes on top floor no longer cut with one chop of knife/spade. You need to
hack away at them for a bit.
Allies spawn with no weapons apart from a knife. There are now collectable weapons
scattered throughout the map.
Dod_locations added so you can communicate your location.
Snow.

100 miles away. Despite the Russian threat from the East, German units
continue to resist the Allies in the West.

Juny 1944, somewhere in France.
Mission description :
The Allied forces are advancing further into the countryside after securing the beachhead.
But many smaller squads have been cut off from counterattacking German panzer forces - this
also happenend to a small squad of GIs whose task is to defend an important brigde.
The Germans are preparing to regain control of the brigde, which would deliver a critical
blow to Allied supply lines in this area. The defenders are trying to delay the German forces
until reinforcements have arrived.
Allied objectives :
GI, your task is to defend the area around the brigde until reinforcements arrive.
There´s still some armoured firepower avaible, but the Sherman is out of fuel and ammo,
so its your task to prevail any damage to it. We also need to protect the jeep, which
is vital for delivering information to other nearby squads.
Get your men together and move out - the Krauts are preparing a counterattack and
should be here very soon!
Axis objectives :
Soldat, our recon forces have reported light infantry forces and some armor located at
the brigde area. Smash their vehicles and the Angloamerikan invaders will run for their
lifes - we know too good that they´re nothing without air and tank support. Wipe their
armor out and seize the area!
In order to provide you with some AT weapons, we dropped some Panzerschrecks nearby via
parachutes. Just pick them up and you´re ready to go!

story line:
15 decembre 1944, the Germans are about to launch a massive offensive
in the Ardense forest. Before they actually launch it, they send
paratroopers behind enemy lines to take control of a bridge.
The German paratroopers are being dropped behind the town in an open field.
The day before American soldiers secured the town and putted their defenses
in the woods. So now the town is unsecured, the American got to get back
to their original positions to prevent the Germans from capturing the town
and securing the bridge so the tanks can come over.
Allied objectives:
Capture all 5 points
Axis objectives:
Capture all 5 poins
Notes:
-The bridge is a capture area wich requires 2 people to cap.
-Each team has 2 rocket weapons to create shortcuts in the map.
-Anti-spawn protection is active!

Story: The Allies are going to take over this little italian village.
Allies/Axis: Try to capture the whole village before the enemy takes it.
I built two secret areas with granades , each for every team , so
take this given advantage and use it to beat the enemy.

Each team has 4 flags in and around their base.
Get to the enemy base and steal one,
then return it to your base
Steal all of the enemys flags to win
Each team has a radio on the second floor of their base from which artillery strikes can be called.
Each teams radio can be destroyed by the enemy, (just shoot it)
Points as follows:
Steal a flag and return it to base- 10 pts for you 3 for your teammates
Destroy the enemys radio- 5 points for you
There are some unprotected spawn areas so beware.......

Some clips may not be 100% perfect accurate, but all my more precise work was immediately destroyed by HL compiler buggy working :-.
Warning: This map uses flo_grass.mdl model with just one submodel. This file is also present in Steamed DoD 1.1. There is also floating newer file with more submodels but looking worse IMO. This other version can replace the one used here and present in DoD 1.1 if you install it with some map. Both files have the same name.
About A update:
Several changes to make gameplay more entertaining, 2man caps of bridge flags, overall layout is the same, some small routes near spawns for both teams.

BACKGROUND
Allied high command is planning a large-scale invasion of the
European mainland in early June. The point of attack will be
the Normandy coast and not the area around Calais which is
what the Germans expect.
The meeting was held in London. A German spy managed to steal
documents about the plan and has fleed to Switzerland to meet
his contact, Otto Skorzeny.
The secret of Normandy will be lost if the Germans can inspect
the maps properly. The SAS have acquired evidence that the
documents are being held in Otto Skorzeny's castle high in the
Austrian mountains, awaiting inspection by German military
specialists.
MISSION BRIEFING
British soldier:
The castle is defended by two 88mm AA batteries and it is
therefore impossible for us to send in paratroopers. The only
possible way to get inside the axis base is with the cableway.
After securing a foothold in the base, move on, locate the
documents and take them back to the cableway.
Axis soldier:
Attention Landser! This castle now holds secrets very
important to great Germanys war effort. We expect the british
to attack us any time now to retrieve those secrets. For the
Reich and Führer, defend this castle and the secret with your
life. Defeat will not be tolerated!

On June 6, 1944, D-Day, planes with thousands of paratroopers crossed
the English Channel to France, where they came under heavy fire.
None of the men landed where they expected to, and many lost their
weapons and supplies in the drop. Only 10% of the paratroopers of 101st
airborne division found their gathering point in time and those where
send to attack a fortified German artillery position, which were firing
on to the seaborne infantry trying to take Utah Beach.

Weeks ago the Germans captured some secret documents essential to the liberation of Paris. Recon has discovered that the documents are being held in a german bunker just north of our position. Send out a squad of your best men to take over the bunker. In the midnight assault, be prepared to take out any threats that you encounter. Light resistance is expected.
Objectives: Primary Objective: Take over bunker(capture all flags)
Secondary Objectives :Destroy the 88 artillery, rescue your confidential documents for extra points.
Headquarters just radioed in that we might expect a night assault against an American squad. We must be ready to hold what is ours!
Objective: Push the allies back,protect the bunker at all costs!

@Arkshine: de_basalt is a whooping 462M, it won't go down below 250M even with ultra compression, it uses a ton of models and has a large out of bounds area, it's not your normal CSGO map no, but it's an official map, its CS2 version is even larger reaching 2GB but that's irrelevant since the site doesn't have a CS2 category
