Just asked the creator - he said that a small part of the map was taken/inspired from that map. But in everything else, it's a different map like 95%. You could at least take a look at the difference between amount of the files, at first.

Good map layout but if you really wanna make it rain on your map then choose a matching skybox please. Not one of an almost clear nightsky.

I can understand clipping for smoother gameplay but by doing so completely blocking a corner where otherwise you could easily camp next to a stack of boxes is a bit overkill.
Besides, that specific indoor area has clipping on the edges of all the boxes on 1 side of the room & completely unnecessary imo.

Also this is the third map I've noticed that uses clipping of steps. A new trend among mappers?

Get your shotguns ready for this close combat styled nocturnal map.
Only minus point for me so far is that most stairs are clipped off by an invisible slope.
For the rest this is some great stuff.

Intended or not, the layout has a lot resemblance with de_marjour.

I'm just curious, as a non-mapper, exactly why.
The only reason I could think of is, when the mapper indeed made the skybox him/herself, that he/she wanted to give the player the most suitable allround atmosphere for their creation.
When the map developes further, the mapper might find the time to make a proper dn.tga skybox file.

I might be wrong, from my lack of knowledge, but is it really that much more work to create 1 more skybox file?

Sorry if that was the intention you received from my first comment, but I was not trying to sound harsh.

Why such a harsh comment? Just note, that there is still an issue with the skybox - this is a beta version!
On the other hand, most players won't notice the error, since the dn.tga is not visible during normal playsessions.
